Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating user-centered digital experiences, developing UX/UI concepts, and translating customer insights into innovative product and service solutions.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
User Experience (UX) Designer Job Responsibilities include:
Conduct user research, analyze customer insights, and translate business objectives into intuitive UX/UI design solutions.
Create user flows, wireframes, information architecture, and interactive prototypes for digital products and experiences.
Develop and refine end-to-end user experiences that seamlessly integrate digital interfaces with physical product touchpoints.
Collaborate closely with Industrial Designers, Design Researchers, and cross-functional teams to define and validate design concepts.
Facilitate design evaluation, usability testing, co-creation sessions, and iterate solutions based on user feedback and insights.
Produce design documentation, experience requirements, and presentation materials to clearly communicate design intent and user outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, Experience Design, Product Design, or related human-centered design disciplines.
Strong expertise in user research, user journeys, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, and interactive prototyping.
Proven experience designing end-to-end experiences across digital and physical touchpoints, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Industrial Designers, Design Researchers, and cross-functional teams on complex product concepts.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
