Pay Rate: $48.27/Hr.

Requirements: Global Trade Principal Specialist - - AMERICAS CUSTOMS- US Citizenship
- Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to learn and utilize many different application tools (SAP/GTS, SharePoint, Office 365, Smartsheet, Access, Web based tools, etc.)
Primary Responsibilities: Global Trade Principal Specialist - - AMERICAS CUSTOMS- Lead daily tactical import entry process and import initiatives across Interiors client Sites, ensuring full Customs compliance and managing US Customs inquires and data requests.
- Drive collection of import data and analysis for monthly Dashboard metrics.
- Perform import Declaration auditing.
- Oversee refund tracking and updating various tools to optimize duty recovery
- Assist Import team and Import Manager on projects, tactical activities, strategic activities, **DUTY MITIGATION** and other import activities, as needed.
- Remain up to date on current Global Trade Related Geopolitical events, Such as Section Tariffs, and Anti-dumping & Countervailing Duties.

- Experience with client's current trade compliance related processes (classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, record keeping, etc.) and client specific GT related systems (GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) is a plus.
