We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Utilities Coordinator opportunity with a nationwide leader in property preservation and field services, where you'll be part of a trusted team supporting banks, mortgage servicers, and investors with quality, compliance-driven solutions that keep communities strong.

The Utilities Coordinator is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Activating electric, water, and gas services at vacant homes on behalf of clients via phone, email, fax, and web portals.
  • Communicating with clients and utility companies, dispatching vendors to properties, and ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Reviewing available photos and requesting client feedback regarding asset condition and safety prior to utility activation.
  • Reviewing utility bills, resolving usage discrepancies, and properly managing funds (including distinguishing between paying utility companies and billing clients).
  • Documenting property records thoroughly and accurately with notes and supporting files to substantiate service completion within required timelines.
  • Multitasking effectively managing phone calls and wait times while researching across multiple internal software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all company services.

Required qualifications for the position include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary software
  • Efficient negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office productivity software including Outlook, Word and Excel

Pay Rate Range: $18.00 per hour.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
