As a Utilities Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.Core ResponsibilitiesLead a project team consisting of engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the design, modification, analysis, and constructability of new and existing utility systems as part of large-scale transportation projectsWork on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of engineering and construction-related issuesCoordinate utility relocation efforts on behalf of Federal, State, and Local area agencies or utility infrastructure ownersAct as a team lead in the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of utility engineering work.Prepare, review, and/or approve proposals, contracts, or cost estimatesNegotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with sub-consultants, and clientsLead efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirementsPrepare reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirementsPerform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparationQualifications, Skills, and CompetenciesBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering DegreeProfessional Engineering License5 years of experience in the transportation engineering, design or construction fieldsAbility to manage engineering, design or construction projectsProficiency in MicroStationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite requiredBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insuranceGenerous paid time off401(k): 50% match of contribution up to 6%Professional development opportunities including in-house trainingPaid professional organization membership and professional licensureEqual Opportunity Employer including disability and protected veteran status#J-18808-Ljbffr
