Key Responsibilities

• Complete general in-and-out tasks throughout the facility to support daily operations

• Assist with routine sanitation to maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Perform small maintenance tasks and basic equipment upkeep

• Monitor and maintain operational equipment to ensure functionality

• Support Embrex operations when needed

• Follow all safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity protocols

• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

• Any additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs consistently
• Ability to push equipment up to 500 lbs
• Basic math and writing skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
• Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of the facility

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a hatchery setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness

Work Environment

This role operates within a hatchery environment requiring adherence to strict sanitation, safety, and biosecurity standards. Tasks may involve standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and working around equipment and livestock for extended periods.

Work Schedule

• Wednesday: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• Saturday: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Note: Hours may occasionally extend or adjust based on production needs.
