We are looking for:
Utilities Superintendent
Position Summary:
We count on you to: (Key Responsibilities)
Lead, coach, and develop a team of union utility operators; set expectations and manage performance
Ensure safe, efficient operation of wastewater treatment, boiler/steam, and water systems
Maintain full compliance with environmental regulations, including NPDES wastewater permits and air requirements
Ensure reliable delivery of utilities to meet production demands
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and training to maintain qualified operator coverage
Administer work practices in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to support reliability and maintenance activities
Monitor and improve performance metrics related to safety, compliance, reliability, and cost
Lead continuous improvement efforts in energy use, water efficiency, and system performance
Maintain required documentation, reporting, and operating procedures
Coordinate with site tenants on projects, utilities usage, and cost reporting
You will bring:(Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in utilities or manufacturing operations in an industrial environment
Prior leadership experience required; union environment experience preferred
Knowledge of wastewater treatment systems and environmental compliance (NPDES preferred)
Experience with boilers, steam systems, and industrial water systems

You will get:
Competitive salary and benefits: The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $98,720 to $140,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skills, experience, and qualifications. It can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
