Utility Aide - Food Service

JOB SUMMARY Assist Food services team in preparation, presentation of highest quality meals and service, and to perform duties as required for the smooth operation of the Food Services Department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Personally get to know the residents of the Community by communicating with other team members and departments and direct conversation with residents.

2. As directed, perform all dietary services mentioned in the Resident Handbook and Care Plan.

3. Plan your daily work schedule in a way that will maximize time for personal individualized interaction with residents of the Community.

4. Request additional guidance, training, and support as necessary to make your work with each resident reach their full potential for safe, healthy and meaningful lifestyle and the Community. Participate in all required training, orientation, meetings and programs offered by employer.

5. Promptly discuss and resolve any potential food services and care coordination with supervisor.

6. Under the direction of your Team Leader assist all food service personnel whatever manner necessary to properly serve the residents. Fill drinking glasses as needed. Set and reset all tables in dining room as needed.

7. Monitor: salad bar, beverage and service stations, refill whatever is needed as directed.

8. Help cook serving all meals. Assist in cleaning dining room tables and dining area if necessary upon request by supervisor.

9. Perform such other tasks as may be required from time to time by the management of the property
