A family-owned heavy civil contractor in the Sioux City, IA area is looking for its next Project Manager/Estimator — and they're hiring for potential, not just a title on a résumé.

If you've built your career in the field as a Superintendent, Foreman, Field Engineer, or heavy civil/utility professional, this could be your opportunity to take the next step.

You don't need to already be an experienced PM or Estimator. If you understand how heavy civil projects get built, have a strong work ethic, take ownership, and want to grow, this company is willing to invest in you and teach you the rest.

Estimating, budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, and project management can be learned. Construction instincts, leadership, accountability, and drive are much harder to teach.

What You'll Do

• Estimate and manage heavy civil and underground utility projects
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Develop budgets and schedules
• Coordinate crews, equipment, subcontractors, vendors, and materials
• Track costs, production, and project performance
• Work closely with field leadership, clients, and project partners
• Learn to independently manage projects from bid through completion

Who They're Looking For

Experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, earthwork, excavation, grading, site development, or water/sewer infrastructure is a strong fit.

Your title could be Foreman, Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Estimator, Assistant PM, or PM.

What matters most is that you:

• Understand construction
• Work hard and take ownership
• Communicate well
• Want to learn and grow
• Have the potential to take on more responsibility

No college degree required — experience, attitude, and potential matter most.
