Job Description
Utility Bar Porter Primary Responsibilities: - Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Follow all Health Department guidelines.
- Follow all Safety guidelines for lifting and using hazardous chemicals.
- Report any safety issues, repairs needed or suggestions.
Daily Responsibilities: - Kings bar, Palace bar, Hugo’s bar and the Shooter bar, floors and floor mats are cleaned nightly.
- Cocktail Server’s station, floors and floor mats are cleaned nightly.
- All floor drains to be cleaned.
- Trash cans to be cleaned.
- Shrimp room floor, floor drains and inside the walk in cooler to be cleaned.
- The gun room trash to be emptied and cleaned.
Additional Responsibilities: - Hugo’s bar: All bottles and shelves including the speed racks to be cleaned and dusted.
- Display cases to be kept clean and dusted.
- Gun rooms to be trash free, floors mopped and racks kept clean.
- Ice Machines need a deep cleaning (to be scheduled with engineering). Check chemicals on glass washers nightly.
- Other duties may be assigned by the MOD.
Working conditions: - Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels.
- Must work calmly during stressful times (increases in business volume)
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors and may work in unusually hot, cold, noisy areas and steam.
