Department: Utility Services Department Organizational Unit: County Water and Wastewater

Position Type: Permanent Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

CLOSE DATE: 07/02/2026

$21.94 to $24.13 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. North Area/Mims/Mims Utility Billing Office. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs experienced paraprofessional work creating, verifying, and maintaining customer account records; collecting, depositing, and recording fees for services; and resolving customer service issues.

REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, OR Completion of a one (1) year certificate program in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field PLUS one (1) year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or manmade disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
