Utility Cleaner Location: Modesto, CAJob Type: Full TimePosition Summary The Utility Cleaner performs basic vehicle servicing duties and maintains fleet cleanliness. The role requires customer service orientation, safety compliance, and readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Key Responsibilities Washes interior of vehicles using power washer and brushes, sweeps, mops, and removes trash from vehicles.Reports any safety or physical damage issues to Supervisor.Cleans and details interior of cars & buses, windows, stanchions, sweeping, mopping, graffiti, and drivers' front area on bus.Performs light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.Reports any maintenance issues to Supervisor.Requirements as needed.Skills and Knowledge Good oral communication skills.Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions.Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and safety training materials.Ability to learn shop processes including cleaning vehicles.Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products.Ability to use equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines, and other heavy cleaning equipment.Strong attention to detail.Knowledge of shop safety standards.Well‑organized.Can read and write in English.Valid Driver's License.Self‑motivated and able to perform without constant supervision.Flexible to work varied hours or shifts.Able to work as a team.Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.Successful drug screen and criminal background check.Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Benefits Vacation after 1 year of service.Paid sick leave.Medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days.Life insurance, pension plan, and company holidays.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Transdev is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
