JOB DESCRIPTION: Utility Construction Apprentice is manual to semi-skilled work in the construction and repair of sewer lines. Work involves performing a variety of manual maintenance work related to the replacement or extension of existing sewer lines and the construction of new catch basins or manholes.
QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D) or, any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job such as those listed above • Experience in the maintenance and repair of sewer lines, knowledge of basic methods, materials and equipment used in sewer construction and maintenance work • Valid driver's license • Must hold or be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of hiring
Salary Range: $26.22/hr.
