Sodexo Live! is seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Utility Workers / Dishwashers to support back-of-house operations within the Alaska Airlines Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
As a critical member of our hospitality team, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational excellence that support an exceptional guest experience. While guests may not always see your work, your contributions are essential to ensuring our culinary and service teams can deliver a seamless premium lounge experience.

Your Impact:
As a Utility Worker / Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in the daily success of lounge operations by:
  • Supporting culinary and service teams with clean, sanitized dishware, cookware, and utensils.
  • Maintaining organized and hygienic kitchen, storage, and service areas.
  • Assisting with the overall cleanliness and operational readiness of the lounge.
  • Upholding Sodexo Live! food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Contributing to a welcoming, efficient, and guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, serving utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual cleaning methods.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, preparation areas, refrigerators, storage rooms, and kitchen equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain kitchen and service area floors.
  • Remove trash, recycling, and waste materials to designated disposal locations.
  • Restock cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, and sanitation products throughout the facility.
  • Assist with receiving, transporting, storing, and organizing inventory and supplies.
  • Support kitchen setup, breakdown, and operational readiness throughout service periods.
  • Follow all HACCP, OSHA, TSA, and Sodexo Live! safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Participate in required safety and operational training programs.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational and business needs.

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, janitorial services, airport operations, or commercial kitchens is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to operational excellence.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often exceeding 8 hours per shift.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable working in wet, hot, cold, and fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work safely around commercial kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals.
Requirements:
  • Must successfully pass a TSA background screening and drug screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security credentials as required.
