Job Description
Seeking an innovative and highly motivated team player to perform and be responsible for maintenance, repair, and inspection of utilities electronic/electrical equipment and control devices such as digital and analog control systems, wired and wireless telemetry systems, motor control systems, pumps and motor systems, and chemical feed systems for the Lake Gaston Water Treatment Plant and Northwest River Water Treatment Plant.

Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Requires an associate's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience in electronics or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of one year of full-time equivalent experience.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: Requires a valid driver's license and a driving record that is in compliance with City Driving Standards.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
