Utility/Forklift Operator

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operates a forklift safely and efficiently
- Conducts daily walk throughs of the tank farm (addresses housekeeping and cleaning)
- Assists with the moving of drums, totes and other items by operating a forklift
- Assists with the moving of equipment and other items for contractors working on projects
- Assists with request from the process Supervisors
- Support the plant process team with special projects
- Abide by all plant safety requirements
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
Job Qualifications:
- Must have previous forklift experience. Will be tested upon hire
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Solid writing skills
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively
- May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
Work Schedule: 6 days on (24 hour variable on call) and 3 days off
