Position Summary
The Utility III team member is an advanced-level production support employee responsible for performing a wide variety of complex operational, material handling, and production support functions within a pork processing facility. This position provides critical support across multiple departments, ensuring efficient production flow, equipment readiness, material availability, and compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards. The Utility III serves as a subject matter expert within the utility function, assists with training and mentoring employees, and supports supervisors in achieving departmental goals.

Schedule -Monday - Friday 10pm-6am

Pay Rate- $22.92 + $1.50 Shift Differential 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Advanced Production Support
 Support production operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, tools, and equipment.
 Coordinate and perform product movement, palletizing, staging, and inventory support activities.
 Assist with production line startups, changeovers, shutdowns, and operational troubleshooting.
 Monitor workflow and proactively address operational issues that may impact productivity.
 Support multiple departments and functions based on business needs.
 Perform advanced utility and production support tasks requiring independent judgment and decision-making.


Material Handling and Equipment Operation
 Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, and other approved material-handling equipment.
 Conduct equipment inspections and ensure operational readiness.
 Assist with warehouse support activities, inventory movement, and storage organization.
 Support product traceability and inventory control requirements.
 Identify equipment concerns and coordinate repairs through appropriate channels.

Food Safety and Quality Compliance
 Follow all USDA-FSIS regulations, HACCP requirements, GMPs, SSOPs, Food Defense
programs, and company policies.
 Ensure proper handling and movement of products to maintain product integrity
