BNI Coal, Ltd., a BNI Energy company and subsidiary of ALLETE, Inc. with locations in Bismarck & Center, ND is now accepting applications for the following positions at the Center Mine, Center, ND: utility/heavy equipment operators.
Responsibilities: General labor as utility/heavy equipment operator including:
- Operate and maintain large mining equipment
- Pump water and maintain pumps, and assist mechanics
- Must be proficient in operating large mining equipment and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Shift work
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Three years’ work experience. Two year college degree may be substituted for 2 years work experience
- Experience in operating large construction/earth moving equipment is required
- Experience with electrical, welding, dragline maintenance, or diesel mechanics are preferred but not required
- Computer skills desired
