Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Utility Maintenance Technician to support daily facility operations. This role is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance (PMs), general repairs, machine setup, and overall facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Complete general repairs and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Support facility upkeep including groundskeeping and general maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist other departments with maintenance-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, or utility experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
