Utility Maintenance Technician

Utility Maintenance Person is responsible for supporting the upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of KDM's facility, equipment, and grounds. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this entry-level role helps ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently while supporting maintenance activities across the organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and willing to learn a variety of hands-on maintenance and facility support responsibilities.

• Facility Organization & Housekeeping

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred

• Experience in a maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience performing minor repairs, general upkeep, or preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate company vehicles for transportation of parts, supplies, and equipment.
