Description

The Utility Worker supports production operations by performing a variety of material handling, and equipment support tasks. This position helps maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production environment while assisting operators and team members to meet quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist production personnel with daily manufacturing and packaging operations.
  • Supports the safe and efficient operation of punch presses and die equipment by providing material handling, die change assistance, equipment cleaning, scrap removal, and general production support
  • Assist with loading and unloading dies using approved procedures and equipment
  • Move raw materials, work-in-process items, and finished goods throughout the facility using approved material-handling equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and company policies.
  • Assist with changeovers, setup, and teardown of production equipment.
  • Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and safety procedures.
  • Accurately complete production and housekeeping documentation as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing, stamping, metal forming, or press shop experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely work around heavy industrial machinery.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing safety practices.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when required.
