Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operation of Equipment: Safely operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers to install and repair underground utilities.
• Site Preparation: Prepare work sites by clearing debris, leveling terrain, and ensuring proper access for machinery.
• Utility Installation: Install, maintain, and repair underground utilities, including water, sewer, gas, and electrical lines.
• Excavation: Conduct excavation work to create trenches for utility installation while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
• Documentation: Maintain records of work performed, including installation details, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered.
• Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with other construction personnel and utility workers to ensure efficient project execution.
• Maintenance of Equipment: Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Training and Mentorship: Train new operators or laborers in safe operating procedures and equipment use.
