What You'll Be Doing
Maintain strong communications with all other plant employees to ensure efficient and safe workflow.
Tasks may include grounds upkeep, shoveling, organization of parts
Assist in maintenance work and area cleanup, this is honestly the bulk of the work.
Perform a variety of service, inspection, or labor operations throughout the quarry or plants.
Occasional operation of small mobile equipment.
Will perform other duties as may be requested.
What Are We Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment
Prior experience operating mobile equipment (man reach, telehandler, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
