Job Title: Utility Pole Fire Crew Pay: $22 per hour Hours: MondayFriday, 6:30AM3:00PM Start Date: ASAP
Looking for a physically active and reliable outdoor industrial laborer? Join our team in Eugene, OR, as a Utility Pole Fire Crew member and contribute to essential infrastructure projects supporting utility systems across the West Coast.
As a Utility Pole Fire Crew member, you'll be an integral part of the outdoor workforce, performing critical tasks that help safeguard and maintain utility infrastructure. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure project success while gaining valuable experience in outdoor industrial environments.
What Youll Do
As a Utility Pole Fire Crew, you will be responsible for:
Applying fiberglass fire-resistant wrapping materials to utility wood poles
Preparing utility poles using industrial tools and equipment
Supporting production flow, material handling, and yard operations
Maintaining clean and safe outdoor work areas
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
The ability to perform physical labor for full shifts (8+ hours)
Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Steel toe boots required
Construction, lumber, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
