Utility / Production Worker

Location: Beech Grove, IN
Schedule: 8-hour rotating shifts
Position Type: Full-Time, Union Environment
Pay: 20.96 an hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Utility / Production Worker to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced production facility. This is an entry-level opportunity with on-the-job training provided. The position involves production support, sanitation, material handling, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, bag, pack, label, store, and move products and materials
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment through sweeping, cleaning, and sanitation
• Load and unload bulk materials, trucks, and/or rail cars
• Operate or train to operate forklifts, skid steers, hand trucks, lifts, conveyors, and other equipment
• Communicate equipment, safety, quality, and maintenance concerns to the team
• Follow all safety, food quality, and environmental procedures
• Perform other production and utility duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Production, warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, or military experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 55 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and working at heights or in confined spaces
• Willing to work around dust, noise, odors, and seasonal hot/cold temperatures
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE and respirators when necessary

Schedule

This position works 8-hour rotating shifts. Candidates must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts when needed.
