Utility Project EngineerFull Time Key Position | Dayton, Moraine, OH, USDirect Supervisor: Utility Maintenance ManagerJob SummaryCompletes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elementsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Support Utility Manager and Utility team membersJob Functions and DutiesDevelops project objectives by reviewing project job scopes and confer with Processing Department and Machinery teamDetermines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elementsDetermines project specifications and project schedule by studying project design and customer requirementsCompleting relevant technical studies and preparing cost estimates with the purchasing dept.Prepare project status reports and keep track of construction planPropose scope of work to contractors and engineering design teamReview design drawings provided by Engineering Design company and construction contractorsMaintains project documents, including drawings, permit letter, warranty letter etc.Collaborate with senior engineers to create more efficient methods and maintain profitabilityAssign and manage daily installation tasks to Utility team membersSite support all construction team and contractors to make sure job accomplished on timeSupport Utility manager on CIP projects management, complete KPI assessmentSupport Utility manager on PM, Overhaul and Shutdown schedules and documents preparationSupport on all Utility teams to purchase and manage spare partsSupport Utility Manager on daily routine and coordinate team membersNothing in the Position Description restricts management's right to assign or re‑assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any timeJob RequirementsLanguage: English and/or Mandarin. Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.Experience: 1+ years manufacturing and project management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher (GED)Physical ConditionThe employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip). Visual acuity and color vision required. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
