About this assignment

We are hiring a Commercial Metering Project Manager on behalf of our client for a 1-year W-2 contract. You’ll embed with the Engineering & Construction (E&C) organization to oversee metering systems across renewable project development, detailed design, construction, and commissioning. Preferred work location is Juno Beach, FL 33408; remote work is acceptable. You will report to the onsite Manager.

A day in the life

You start by reviewing metering deliverables against commercial agreements and ISO requirements. Before lunch, you align engineering teams and suppliers on revenue-grade metering specifications and ensure those requirements are incorporated into drawings and equipment packages. In the afternoon, you track contract milestones, prepare concise updates for stakeholders, and support meetings with clear presentations. When deadlines approach, you’re ready to put in extended hours to keep critical-path activities on schedule.

What you’ll do

• Provide engineering, design, and development support for commercial metering on renewable projects
• Track and report on contractual execution and design progress, escalating risks and clearing roadblocks
• Apply and uphold company standards and policies; support broader organizational objectives
• Prepare communications and presentations; contribute and present in internal and external meetings
• Conduct research and propose process or technical improvements
• Collaborate across departments to capture and translate customer requirements
• Flex to work extended hours as project timelines require

What you’ll manage

• Interpret and organize customer, commercial, and internal metering requirements
• Coordinate the execution of commercial metering documentation
• Drive implementation of metering requirements into engineering design packages

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Ideally, you also bring

• Experience with commercial/contract negotiation
• Understanding of ISO requirements
• Knowledge of metering systems and equipment

Compensation and benefits

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55.00/hr. to $60.00/hr.
