Position Overview
The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Utility Services Project Engineer III (Infrastructure Planning) in the Department of Utility Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, plans, coordinates, and performs professional engineering activities relating to water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure for the Department of Utility Services; may oversee and direct the work of technical and professional staff responsible for the design and management of Utilities Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), long-range infrastructure planning and management, new development services; and performs related duties as assigned.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive Salary Range of $102,068.54 - $153,102.82 annually; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive review and takes into consideration that candidates qualifications as well as internal equity.*
Base Wage increase upon successful completion of Initial Probationary or Qualifying Period.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Five (5) years of responsible, diversified experience in a related engineering field, including two (2) years of professional (post-license) engineering experience at the supervisory level or lead experience
Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
Valid registration as a Professional Engineer with the State of Nevada or the ability to obtain through reciprocity within one (1) year
Possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483
