We are seeking a dependable Utility Mapping Laborer to assist Road Utility Mapping Technicians and keep field operations running smoothly. As a Utility Mapping Laborer, you'll play a key role in supporting daily utility location and excavation projects. You’ll work closely with the mapping crew lead to deliver accurate results while maintaining high safety and quality standards outdoors.

What You'll Do
As a Utility Mapping Laborer, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting in the operation of custom-built vacuum excavation equipment.
• Supporting the crew lead with utility mapping setup, measuring, and documentation.
• Performing routine maintenance on company trucks, tools, and field equipment.
• Reading tape measures and performing precise measurement calculations.
• Filling in for other operational roles within the company as needed.
• Maintaining job site cleanliness and ensuring equipment is stored safely.

What You'll Bring

• Above entry-level experience in labor, construction, or utility work.
• Strong basic math skills, including adding and subtracting measurements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to comfortably work outdoors in all weather conditions, rain or shine.

• Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility to assist across different tasks.

Location & Schedule
This is a temp-to-hire position based out of the Eugene, OR area. The core schedule runs Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with potential flexibility needed between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM or occasional evening shifts based on client needs.
