The City of Wyoming is seeking a tech-savvy professional who enjoys learning and solving problems to fill the position of Utility Technology Systems Administrator.
This position will split their time between two facilities, the Drinking Water Plant (located in Holland) and the Wastewater Treatment Plant (located in Wyoming).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Administering and directing activities to provide support for the City of Wyoming's Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant technology environments.
- Working cooperatively with utility plant leadership, operators, maintenance staff, the Information Technology department, customer communities, and contractors to maintain and troubleshoot existing plant operational technology and evaluate and implement changes to improve security and functionality of treatment plant operations and technology systems.
- Exercising discretion and judgement in evaluating and implementing technology needs; in planning, scheduling, and developing solutions; and in working with administration, staff, contractors, customer communities, and other City departments to effectively meet end user needs.
Candidates should have experience in troubleshooting, computer application configuration, cybersecurity, operational technology, software and hardware environments, and/or network design and implantation and experience in project planning and management. Experience working in a water or wastewater utility setting is preferred.

The wages for this position is $41.51 - $52.55 an hour or $86,340.80 - $109,304.00 annually.
Effective July 1, 2026 the wages for this position is $42.34 - $53.60 an hour or $88,067.20 - $111,488.00 annually.
Employees are eligible for a pay increase six months after hire.
