Utility Worker
We are hiring for a Utility Worker to join our team. As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production processes, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and quality of our manufacturing outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment as per schedule.
Manage material inventory, ensuring that all supplies are readily available for production processes.
Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to comply with safety standards.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality production output.
Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastics industry.
Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
