Utility Worker

JOB SUMMARY

As a Utility Person, you will support our injection molding operations by assisting with material handling, machine support, and general housekeeping. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient production environment and works closely with Process Technicians and Operators to ensure production goals are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, and production areas to meet housekeeping standards.
• Conduct and Maintain Inventory levels of Production supplies.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing of finished products.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Grind Scrap as needed.
• Destroy non-conforming products.
• Assist in Assembly or Production as needed.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and scrap between workstations and storage areas.
• Communicate effectively with operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Drive box truck as needed (mainly as back up)
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and inventory goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or injection molding environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to Operate Forklift.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels.
• Exposure to heat and plastic materials.
• Use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
• May require overtime and flexible shifts.
