Utility Worker III - US
Delaware Water Gap, PA
6 Month Contract
Payrate - 24$/hr, W 2
Must be Flexible to work all shifts:
• 1st Shift: 7am – 3pm
• 2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm
• 3rd Shift: 11pm – 7am
**If selected candidates are late or NCNS, they will be terminated immediately. No exceptions**
Responsibilities:
- Perform general manual labor around the mill, including picking up paper, sweeping floors, and cleaning with various hand tools.
- Shovel and handle chemicals as needed.
- Operate a core cutting machine to cut cores.
- Operate a forklift to move loose paper, empty dump hoppers, and transport paper rolls and pallets.
- Engage in all aspects of work with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Interact well with team members.
- Perform all other labor and general utility work as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be flexible to work all shifts: 1st Shift (7am – 3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm – 11pm), 3rd Shift (11pm – 7am).
- Ability to lift 50lbs and tolerate environments that can be hot, cold, and dirty.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- High school degree or GED required.
- Must be able to clear a drug test that includes THC.
- Must be fully cleared to start.
- Compliance with a tobacco-free policy on company property.
Preferred Skills:
- Heavy industrial experience.
- Prior forklift experience is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.
