SUMMARY
Under the supervision of a supervisor, and/or Equipment Operator performs a variety of general unskilled manual work in the collection of household refuse, limbs and brush, and bulk items placed out for collection. Also, performs general cleanup, maintenance and unskilled labor tasks at the paint shop, transfer station or landfill as directed by supervisor. This position will be required to work shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime as needed by the department, and during inclement weather. This position is considered weather essential personnel.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Licenses/Certification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Any combination of experience and training equivalent to completion of Eighth Grade.
A valid Texas Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
General maintenance and repairs, painting and clean up experience is preferred.
Physical Demands
The employee is also required to balance, crouch, feel, finger, handle, pull, push, reach, speak, stand, stoop, talk, see, and walk. Also requires the ability to make rational decisions and preform repetitive motions
