SUMMARY
Under general supervision, assists in performing job-related tasks and assignments. Duties include caring for and maintaining park grounds and other City of Amarillo facilities. Participants will attend training courses and complete the assigned coursework.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in light groundskeeping and custodial duties is preferred. Regular attendance at classroom sessions organized by the Community Development Department is mandatory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee's work takes place both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and a dynamic environment that demands sensitivity to change and responsiveness to shifting goals, priorities, and needs. The primary work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with approximately 24 hours of work scheduled each week.
