Responsible for supporting production operations and ensuring timely shipping, while maintaining plant and equipment cleanliness.
- Load/unload items from machines and conveyors.
- Operate or assist with machinery used in production.
- Process products through inspection, wrapping, and packaging.
- Verify product quality and monitor equipment for malfunctions.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods manually or with forklifts.
- Follow safety protocols, including FSMS responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, possibly at different skill levels.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma/GED and ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in varying environments.
Preferred experience in manufacturing is a plus. The role involves working in environments with noise, odors, heat/cold, and exposure to hazardous conditions.
Physical demands include handling weights up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and using senses for communication and safety. The position requires visual acuity, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
