    Job Description

    Lead the Flow of Utility Materials

    Join us in a full-time, long-term role with room to grow. You’ll anchor our yard and storeroom operations, keeping utility materials organized, moving, and accounted for. Schedule: 1st shift, 7:30am–4:00pm with overtime as needed.

    A Day in the Life

    From sun-up, you’ll take the lead on inventory stewardship outdoors and indoors. You’ll conduct precise cycle counts, stage materials for crews, and load or unload arriving and departing trucks. Throughout the day, you’ll operate heavy JLG equipment handling up to 12,000 lbs, serve as a spotter to keep movements safe, and coordinate with teammates and vendors. When needed, you’ll hop in a company flatbed or pickup to deliver materials to nearby yards—no overnight travel.

    What You’ll Handle

    • End-to-end storeroom and yard organization, including cycle counts, staging, sorting, and documenting damages.
    • Operating heavy JLG equipment for utility materials up to 12K pounds.
    • Loading and unloading trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
    • Local transport using company flatbeds or pickups (no overnight trips).
    • Partnering with team members and vendors to complete daily tasks.
    • Acting as a yard spotter to guide equipment movements.

    What You Bring

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Valid Driver’s License.
    • Clear communication for spotting and task coordination.
    • Hands-on warehouse and inventory background.
    • Comfort with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
    • Outdoor heavy equipment experience in construction or a laydown yard.
    • Preferred exposure to all-terrain forklifts, telehandlers, cranes, and other JLG equipment.
    • Safety-first mindset—punctual, team-oriented, respectful, and motivated.

    Physical Realities

    • Lift and carry up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
    • Stand, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
    • Work indoors and outdoors across varying weather, including heat and inclement conditions.
    • Confidently move long, awkward materials with heavy equipment.
