    Description

    Job Summary

    Are you a creative, curious, student looking to gain experience in UX Design? Join the software innovation and design team to help drive Medpace's software further forward in our mission to accelerate the global development of safe and effective medical therapeutics. This is a great opportunity if you are someone who wants to join a design team in the early stages of modernizing internally built software tools used in the clinical research process. You will design user experiences to translate complex workflows and regulatory requirements into UIs that are intuitive and delight our users. Working with a cross-functional team, you will help shape our user experience strategy through collecting data and insights to drive the best UX.

    Responsibilities

    • Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with detailed and scalable visual design specifications for web and mobile interfaces throughout the design process;
    • Demonstrate an understanding of Agile / Lean UX methodologies;
    • Participate in research and evaluation of emerging design, technology, industry, and market trend;
    • Participate in the design planning and strategic phases of a project. Proactively pitch new CX ideas backed by strong, well-articulated rationale.

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor''s degree or higher in Visual/Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or related field;
    • Available to work 40 hours per week in our Cincinnati, OH office;
    • Experience defining, developing and documenting UX design and interaction requirements;
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated experience using strategy to solve complex problems;
    • Portfolio demonstrating user experience activities, processes, and deliverables;
    • Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe CC;
