Overview

Client is seeking a Product Designer with strong design system ownership experience, advanced Figma skills, and hands-on AI workflow implementation experience. This role supports an enterprise design system team and will help evolve reusable design patterns, documentation, scalable component libraries, and AI-enabled UX workflows across digital products.

Core Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and evolve design system artifacts, patterns, components, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI to improve design system scalability, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Explore, prototype, and advocate for AI-enabled tools and workflows within UX design processes.
  • Design visual styles, interfaces, interaction flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Help create scalable, reusable design patterns for desktop, mobile, and web experiences.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and UX teams from concept through implementation.
  • Influence Product Owner decisions using UX best practices, design principles, and research insights.
  • Collect, analyze, present, and act on feedback for UX deliverables.
  • Create research strategies, usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
  • Use heuristic reviews, user interviews, remote testing, and in-person testing to evaluate usability.
  • Lead end-to-end UX design processes from ideation through execution.
  • Mentor and guide other designers.
  • Present design work clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.
  • Track project status, risks, issues, and remaining work using tools such as Rally, Jira, or Aha!.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
  • 5+ years of UX practitioner experience with a background in user experience design, interaction design, product design, or similar.
  • Design system ownership experience.
  • Advanced Figma design skills.
  • AI workflow implementation experience.
  • Experience contributing to or owning enterprise-scale design systems.
  • Experience designing scalable component libraries, reusable patterns, and usage guidance.
  • Strong UX/UI product design experience across mobile, desktop, and web applications.
  • Experience working closely with Engineers from inception through implementation in an agile environment.
  • Experience with responsive, adaptive, and accessible design.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and UX strategy.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, Figma AI, design-to-code workflows, automation, prompt-based systems, or AI-enabled design workflows.
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or frontend implementation concepts.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Rally, Jira, or Aha!.
Preferred Skills or Experience
  • UX research experience.
  • Executive presentation skills.
  • Experience with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0+ compliance.
  • Experience with localization and inclusive design.
  • Experience working in Product and DesignOps environments.
  • Master's degree in human-computer interaction, human factors engineering, computer science, visual design, library sciences, or a related discipline.
