Description:

• This team is responsible for designing community, participation, and engagement experiences within a leading music streaming mobile application.
• The designer will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and senior UX leadership to create intuitive mobile experiences while working within an established design system.
• This is an execution-focused design role best suited for designers who enjoy solving user problems through thoughtful interaction design rather than defining long-term product strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive user experiences for music app community and participation features.
• Create end-to-end UX solutions for mobile applications across Android and iOS.
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Software Engineers, UX Researchers, and fellow UX Designers.
• Produce wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Work within an established design system while ensuring consistency across products.
• Apply user-centered design methodologies to improve user journeys and interaction patterns.
• Utilize qualitative research insights and quantitative product data to inform design decisions.
• Present design concepts, iterate based on stakeholder feedback, and support implementation throughout development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to launch experiences simultaneously across Android and iOS platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years of UX/Product Design experience (preferred).
• Strong experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Expertise designing for Android and iOS platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Experience working within established design systems.
• Strong understanding of mobile interaction patterns and usability principles.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers.
• Ability to showcase UX case studies demonstrating end-to-end problem solving and design thinking.
