UX Designer
This position is ideal for mid to senior-level UX professionals to join the Platform Experiences (PEX) team as a UX Designer, shaping the future of digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you'll provide intuitive, elegant, and scalable user experiences across our product ecosystem—including Invisalign®, iTero®, and exocad® platforms. This role is vital in redefining digital dentistry through innovation, empathy, and design excellence.
Role expectations
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to define and deliver user-centered solutions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that align with the Align Design System (ADS).
- Conduct and apply user research insights to inform design decisions.
- Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure design consistency and accessibility across platforms (web, mobile, and desktop).
- Support the development team by providing clear specifications and guidance during implementation.
What we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Skills: Strong portfolio demonstrating systematic and creative design thinking; proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Complementary Skills
• Experience with 3D, motion, or sound design. • Knowledge of dental workflows or clinical software.
