Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in web and full-stack development with front-end frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, Angular) and backend systems (e.g., Python, C++, or Go).
  • Experience designing, architecting, and implementing user interfaces.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing and developing real-world applications for robotics or AI systems, particularly where user trust, system transparency, and human-in-the-loop Workflows are critical.
  • Experience in robotics tooling, such as spatial interfaces, teleportation dashboards, 3D visualizations, or sophisticated ML data annotation platforms.
  • Ability to drive technical direction and lead cross-functional initiatives without requiring established design patterns or precedent.
  • Ability to solve technical and design issues at the intersection of software, hardware, and human behavior.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $176,000-$189,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the unique issues of human-robot interaction, creating intuitive ways for users to interpret robot intent, manage teleoperation, and collaborate with autonomous agents.
  • Architect and develop pioneering, full-stack web applications to support real-world robotics fleet management and the high-volume data systems required for machine learning (ML) training and annotation.
  • Partner tightly with a various group of ML researchers, hardware engineers, back-end developers, and product managers to translate heavy infrastructure into seamless user experiences.
  • Navigate a fast-changing technical landscape by rapidly prototyping, iterating, and adapting solutions to emerging AI capabilities and shifting operational needs.
