This role will support the evolution of internal business applications and web-based customer platforms, helping transform complex workflows into intuitive, scalable, and user-centered solutions.
The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative UX/UI professional who thrives in ambiguous environments, can independently drive design initiatives, and is comfortable partnering directly with stakeholders to identify problems, conduct research, develop solutions, and deliver polished designs ready for engineering implementation.
This position offers an opportunity to play a foundational role in shaping design processes, improving design system adoption, and influencing the future direction of digital products across the organization.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
UX Research & Product Discovery
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and operational challenges.
  • Conduct user research activities including interviews, feedback sessions, usability testing, and discovery workshops.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experiences through customer-centered design methodologies.
  • Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and product requirements.
  • Validate concepts through testing, iteration, and continuous feedback loops.
Product Design & User Experience
  • Design intuitive workflows, dashboards, data visualizations, and web-based application experiences.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Develop solutions for both internal enterprise users and external customer-facing experiences.
  • Simplify complex processes and information into user-friendly interfaces.
  • Collaborate throughout the full product development lifecycle, from ideation through implementation.
Design Systems & Visual Design
  • Contribute to and help establish scalable design systems and component libraries.
  • Leverage existing design frameworks and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
  • Create reusable patterns, standards, and documentation that improve design efficiency and team alignment.
  • Maintain high standards for visual design, usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Business Stakeholders, and Leadership teams.
  • Present design concepts and rationale through compelling storytelling and clear communication.
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders by providing structure, recommendations, and visual direction.
  • Ensure smooth design-to-development handoffs by providing detailed specifications, documentation, and implementation guidance.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Required Skills:
  • 4-8 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, or a related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design processes and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience designing web-based applications, dashboards, workflows, and enterprise software experiences.
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and design validation activities.
  • Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability principles.
  • Ability to work independently and make recommendations with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience designing enterprise applications, operational platforms, customer portals, or workflow-driven systems.
  • Experience working within both startup and large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce environments and/or Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems and component libraries.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout implementation.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled design tools and workflows.
  • Experience supporting customer service, utility, energy, SaaS, or related industries.
Education or Certification Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field
