Position: Medical Device V&V Test Engineer
Location: Andover, MA Onsite
Rate: $44-48/HR on W2Job Overview We are looking for a Test Engineer with strong experience in medical device Verification & Validation (V&V) to support system-level testing of products involving hardware, firmware, and software.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute system verification and validation test strategies.
Prepare test plans, protocols, test cases, traceability matrices, and test reports.
Maintain requirements-to-test traceability and ensure audit-ready documentation.
Execute system, integration, and regression testing.
Identify, document, and track hardware/software defects using JIRA or similar tools.
Support defect investigation, root-cause analysis, and verification of fixes.
Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Software, Firmware, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
Ensure testing activities align with FDA, EU MDR, and ISO 13485 requirements.
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Present project status and test results to management as required.
Required Skills 3+ years of Medical Device Verification & Validation testing experience.
Strong experience with system-level testing and requirements traceability.
Experience creating test protocols, test cases, verification plans, and summary reports.
Hands-on experience with JIRA; Windchill, Cockpit, or similar tools preferred.
Experience with products involving hardware, firmware, and software.
Knowledge of FDA, EU MDR, and ISO 13485.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration
