Description: Qualified Candidates and exemplary teachers are needed to fill the position of Intervention Specialist-Social Communication for the 2026-2027 school year. Position: Princeton Community Middle School - Full Time, 186 Days; 7:15 am - 3:15 pm Qualifications: - Proper Ohio Department of Education credentialing is required or is on a path to earning Resident Educator status in Ohio. - Intervention Specialist (K-12) Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive licensure. - All applicants must meet Highly Qualified status, and licensure must be appropriate to teach assigned coursework. Special Knowledge or Skills: - Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring. - Ability to differentiate instruction and provide appropriate accommodations. - Strong data use to guide instruction and interventions. - Collaboration skills for co-teaching and working with staff and families. - Effective communication with students, families, and team members. - Organization and time management to handle caseload responsibilities. - Understanding of diverse learning and behavioral needs. - Ability to build positive relationships with students and support engagement. Major Duties: - Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines. - Provide specially designed instruction based on individual student needs. - Differentiate lessons and implement accommodations/modifications in general education settings. - Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff. - Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs. - Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and compliance records. - Support students social, behavioral, and academic development. - Participate in team meetings (IEP, TBTs, MTSS, etc.). - Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Compensation: Compensation will be assigned based on experience and education using the negotiated contract and will include full benefits.
