Ocean City Vacation Homes is seeking a motivated, skilled and reliable Vacation Rental Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ocean City, MD. You'll play a vital role in maintaining our portfolio of vacation rental properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs across vacation rental homes, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues quickly to minimize disruption to guests.
Conduct regular property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs.
Coordinate with cleaning teams and property managers to ensure homes are fully guest-ready.
Complete minor carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and appliance troubleshooting.
Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders using scheduling or maintenance software.
Support seasonal property tasks such as winterizing homes and preparing properties for peak rental seasons.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, vendors, and team members.
Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to occasional after-hours maintenance needs.
3+ years of experience in property, facilities, or building maintenance required
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues across multiple trades
Basic carpentry, drywall repair, and painting skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using mobile apps or software to manage work orders and schedules
Must reside in or be willing to commute daily to Ocean City, MD (21842)
