Vaccinator Nurse Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Southwest, FL

Agency Vaccinator Nurse / LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – $37 per hour (Weekly Pay / Every Friday)

Location: Southwest Area
Base Pay:$37 / hour
Overtime Pay:$55.50 / hour
Schedule: 9AM to 5PM

Responsibilities

• Administer Vaccines: Give intramuscular or subcutaneous injections for routine or seasonal vaccines (such as flu, COVID-19, or MMR).
• Screen Patients: Review medical history and check for allergies or contraindications before giving a shot.
• Monitor Reactions: Watch patients for 15 to 30 minutes post-vaccination to catch and treat any immediate allergic reactions or anaphylaxis.
• Patient Education: Explain vaccine benefits, answer safety questions, and discuss common side effects to ease patient concerns.
• Documentation: Log each dose accurately into electronic health records (EHR) or state immunization registries.
• Cold Chain Management: Handle and store vials at precise temperatures to keep vaccines effective.

Requirements

• Completed practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
