Description
The Vaccine Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the vaccine program. The Vaccine Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliance with vaccine management. Vaccine management includes vaccine ordering, inventory and reconciliation, storage and handling, temperature monitoring, transfer of vaccines, administering and managing an emergency plan.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist program required.
Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist certification preferred.
Experience with a vaccination program highly preferred.
Cardiopulmonary and Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification required
Data entry experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and patient electronic medical record systems.
Familiarity with medical laboratory and Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR).
