Vacuum former/Thermo former Operator/Lead
Job Description
Seeking vacuum former/thermoformer operator/lead and setting up, running, and maintaining industrial machines that heat plastic sheets and mold them over a pattern using vacuum pressure.
Pay rate-$20.00-$25.00 D.O.E.
Shift- 7:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m. Mon-Thur. Must be open to overtime- Could possibly work on Fridays
Must meet these Requirements:
Operate thermoforming/vacuum-forming machines load plastic sheets, heat them, form them over molds, and remove finished parts.
Set up the machine adjust temperature, timing, vacuum/air pressure, mold positioning, and other settings.
Inspect parts for quality check dimensions, thickness, appearance, warping, cracks, or other defects.
Trim and finish parts use cutting/trimming equipment to remove excess plastic.
Troubleshoot problems correct issues such as poor forming, uneven thickness, overheating, or vacuum problems.
Change molds/materials and perform basic machine maintenance.
Lead - you may also train operators, assign work, monitor production, enforce safety procedures, and help troubleshoot more difficult problems.
