The operator will be responsible for the assembly, straightening and vacuum brazing of aluminum chassis for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This is a critical role within the Brazing team and requires a detailed mind set. This role reports directly to the Brazing Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
Precision mechanical assembly of complex assemblies using internal drawings, shop travelers, set-up sheets and measuring tools.
Provide technical support in special process.
Vacuum Brazing, pre and post braze straightening.
Chemical cleaning of components.
Preventative maintenance and equipment calibration.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
1-5 years experience in dip and vacuum braze experience a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
