Vacuum Truck Driver – Oilfield Services Job Title: Vacuum Truck DriverReports To: Operations Supervisor / Field SuperintendentEmployment Status:  Full-Time temp to hire  Position SummaryThe Vacuum Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating and maintaining vacuum trucks used to transport and dispose of drilling fluids, produced water, mud, sludge, and other oilfield waste materials. This position supports oilfield operations by ensuring materials are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company, DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate vacuum trucks and related equipment at oilfield locations.
  • Transport drilling fluids, produced water, wastewater, sludge, and other oilfield materials.
  • Perform loading and unloading operations using vacuum systems, hoses, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections.
  • Complete required driver logs, inspection reports, manifests, and work tickets accurately.
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding job status and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • Assist with rig-up and rig-down activities as needed.
  • Respond to after-hours, emergency, or on-call assignments when required.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, accidents, spills, or safety concerns immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support field operations.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with acceptable driving record.
  • Tanker Endorsement required.
  • Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
  • Minimum 2 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Oilfield experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders, tanks, and equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and dust.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and respiratory protection when required.
Work Environment
  • Oilfield and industrial work sites.
  • Exposure to dirt, mud, dust, chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Work may involve long hours, rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
Schedule
  • Full-time position temp to hire
  • Day and night shifts may be required.
  • Overtime and weekend work available based on operational needs.
Pay Range
  • $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, endorsements, and qualifications.
  • Overtime available.
